Io amo l’Italia!
Italy was probably my favorite place to visit… I went there twice while I was Studying in Bremen, Germany. The first trip was with Wytni to Venezia (Venice)…and it was beautiful! Especially at night because not many people live on the Islands of Venice…they live on the mainland… so it is sooo quite and peaceful! I love it!
The next time was right after new years, I went to Milano (Milan) to visit Bruno and his family. When my mom was younger, her family had two exchange students live with them (different times). The first was Bruno, from Italy… and he kept in contact with my grandma until she died then my mom and he talked, and I wanted to meet him… so I went to stay with him for a few days just outside Milano in Parabiago a little suburb… and there was about a foot of snow on the ground!
From Milano I flew to Roma (Rome)… well, it was ryanair…so outside of rome…lol… and it is my hands down all time favorite place in the entire world… i could live there with no problem… i love everything about it… it is beautiful and so full of history… and it was my dream… to go there and see the colosseum… and I got to do it… twice…
my third trip to Italy was crazy… i met up with heather and mary in Paris and we took the train to Italy… only we had trouble finding one that we could take… it was a holiday weekend in france…and we hadn’t made reservations before hand :S ugh… so we were behind schedule…and had to take detours… but we made it to Milano, spent the night wandering around… lol… slept in the station…then caught a train to Rome… YAY! and it was just as amazing as it was the first go around! and i got to share it with friends! yay!
Rome is my favorite place… and i love italy…but i love everywhere i go ;)
